In "Attack of the Killer App", the future of iPhones, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and the like are all shown. Interestingly enough, Mom runs Twitter, while Bender hacks Facebook in an effort to take control. Also,Fry posts an embarrassing video of Leela online.
Meanwhile, the crew of the Planet Express Ship lands on a planet to get rid of their e-waste, only to learn of the disturbing, primitive methods used to recycle what used to be state-of-the-art technology. You can see a preview of this below.
